The latest patented version of this dewatering system was designed to be especially suitable for water removal from various fresh vegetable and fruit products in the foods industry (e.g. leafy items, cherry tomatoes, diced tomatoes, snap peas, broccoli florets, strawberries, berries, pieces of fruit, sliced mushrooms, etc.). The unit can also improve shelf-life, enhance end product quality, and minimize mechanical stress. It has been engineered with simplicity, versatility, and cleanliness in mind, focusing on an enhanced hygienic design. It is mainly composed of three flexible mesh belt overlapping conveyors. Each belt is provided with suction mouths and rotating adjustable beaters to shake the product and facilitate the water separation. The fans are placed in a soundproof cabinet to contain the noise in the working environment and the conveyor belts are easily accessible for cleaning.
